Content is still king.
I'm sure that if you're much into SEO, you've already heard this phrase over and over again. Unfortunately, a lot of businesses still fail to address this one important cornerstone of Internet marketing. These companies have relied mostly on Internet marketers to increase their traffic. The problem is that the visitors rarely go back.
There are at least two major reasons why we have to ensure the quality of the content in our websites. First is that it allows the readers to engage with you. Hence, they are more than willing to go back to your website and conduct business. Second is that if you have quality content, it increased the probability of high-quality links pointing back at you. Both of these benefits will increase the chances of your site to go higher on search engine result rankings.
Oftentimes, it is not enough that you just post high-quality pictures and the prices of your items, because even your competitor can do that. While it's good that you already have a reputation (your brand name), it still pays to give quality information that your potential customers can look up to. If your competitors suddenly come out with better content while you're still busy with your SEO, these customers might think that your competitors probably give more importance to them, leading them away from your client base and eating at your sales.
Of course the key here is to use good keywords before starting with creating your content. Every single article or content you put up should be relevant, important, and in-demand. This does not only boost your reputation, but also your SEO program. There are still a number of keywords out there that are widely searched but still not serviced. Optimize on these keywords, provide useful content, and you will be rewarded.
