In July, 2006 to help local and small businesses succeed on the internet. Please give us a short summary of your website, business model, etc I offer Search Engine Marketing and web site design to small businesses and help them build clients and customers within their community. What has been the most difficult part of creating and running your website? Finding the time to work on my own web site while still helping others. What has been the easist past of operating your website? A local, targeted area. What was your biggest mistake? Not starting this sooner. Who maintains your website and why? I maintain everything. I am a micro-business. Tell us how your business has benefitted from your website? I get clients from all over the area that have stopped by my site through my web promotion. What are your views on ecommerce and the future of the internet? It is the future. Ecommerce is getting larger every year and as our youth grow, they will be shopping online because it is second nature to them. What are your views on Search Engine Optimization (SEO)? That's what I do for a living. It is the way of being found on the internet. What are your views on Search Engines? Have they helped or hindered your website? Helped. They are one of the easiest things to do is SEO. What method has been most successful for promoting your website? organic search engine marketing. It takes more time, but is worth it. What method has been least successful for promoting your website? traditional marketing methods such as fliers and brochures. What would you like to see change with respect to the internet? more use of web 2.0 and social networking. What is the best way to market your web site?: Strong keywords, great content and commitment to your site.
