When did you start your website and why?
In August 2006 just after graduating from University. My dream was to operate a reputable web design and web marketing company that will offer cost-effective web solutions to its clients in Kenya, so the website was a starting point.
Please give us a short summary of your website, business model, etc
The website is dynamically designed using HTML, CSS and PHP. It gives complete information about the company and the services offered.
What has been the most difficult part of creating and running your website?
Integrating the database component.
What has been the easist part of operating your website?
Search Engine Optimization and web promotion.
What was your biggest mistake?
Initially the website was completely in PHP and was quite large in size.
Who maintains your website and why?
We maintain our website because we are capable professionally to do it.
Tell us how your business has benefitted from your website?
Great visibility through online marketing.
What are your views on ecommerce and the future of the internet?
I believe soon everything will be run through web this makes e-commerce verry relevant to any webdesign company. It has a bright future and am preparing myself for it.
What are your views on Search Engine Optimization (SEO)?
Any company with a website should undertake SEO if they intend to increase their online market share. SEO is very critical when it comes to our web design and marketing solutions.
What are your views on Search Engines? Have they helped or hindered your website?
Search engines enable people to get information they would have paid dealy to acquire. They have helped our website very very much.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Submission to popular search engines and relevant online web directories
What method has been least successful for promoting your website?
Online bronchures.
What would you like to see change with respect to the internet?
Not sure yet.
