Maybe it's just that information is more accessible today--I cannot be too sure--but I somehow noticed that more and more people today who are currently in their younger years are making a lot of money as entrepreneurs. Traditionally, only the exceptionally motivated teenagers (some even start while their ages are still in the single digits) do get to earn a lot of dough. The case now is a bit difference.
OK, so it's the same message all over again. The immense popularity of the Internet has made it possible for youngsters to conduct their very own businesses without shelving a lot of money--sometimes without any monetary capital at all! What's needed immense amount of studying as to how one will conduct the business.
One thing that I found to be popular among teenagers are web design businesses. Designing your very own website seem to be a very basic computer ability, but not everyone has the time to study how to do it. Aside from basic HTML and CSS, one also has to learn languages like PHP and MySQL, plus tools such as Adobe Photoshop for the aesthetic part.
Here's one website that I saw linked in one of the forums. It's called Webster Webs. Well it isn't something that you will believe to be created to be a fully experienced web designer, but it sure looks decent enough, right? Actually, it was created by a 13-year-old for his own web designing business.
The kid was not the first one to do it, too. Years back, a couple of people harnessed the power of the Web to make money so by the age of 20, they were already earning millions. Their stories can be found in this Forbes.com. Reading those stories sometimes make me wonder what I was doing when I was 13 years old. So much time has been wasted, I can see.
But it's always never too late. One can still make a lot of money by making an Internet business and while you are at it, do involve the youngsters. It always pays to start young.
